In November 2016, we began developing a new keycap height called KAT (Keyreative All Touch).
Ergonomics
After analyzing Cherry and SA heights, we refined the KAT height through multiple modeling and prototyping efforts.
Features a spherical keycap appearance
Inclined distribution similar to Cherry profiles
Optimized tilting angles
Added R5 profile

In terms of angle design, the R5 profile is the furthest from the fingers, and the increased tilting angle effectively reduces finger movement.
Tilting Angle Comparison
The R1 is more convenient for finger or palm activation.
Compared to SA keycaps, it constrains the gaps between keycaps in different columns, making the relationship between keycaps more unified and reducing the time users need to adapt to the new height.

Structural and Aesthetic Features of KAT Keycaps
Thickened inner wall of the keycaps (1.7mm), thanks to the nearly 90° vertical face of the keycaps, achieving a wall thickness of 1.7mm.
Inspired by SA spherical keycaps and cat paws, designed with a spherical appearance and adopted sharp, conical edges.
Delicate spark pattern surface, breaking the limitation that PBT keycaps can only have rough surfaces.
Other details:
R-angle setting on the front of the keycap, with clearly visible edges that do not scratch the hand.
Includes almost all global width specifications.
Compatible with all Keyreative’s sublimation processes.
Materials
Through years of technical accumulation (as of 2024), KAT can use:
